Miranda and Carrie not being able to share a 10000sq ft house had me so mad. Like yall can’t seriously make that work? As two grown as women? You can’t buy more bananas???

Absolute waste! I was so excited for AJLT to finally give this iteration of Carrie and Miranda more one-on-one time, maybe some actual *conflict*, but instead they burn what could have been multiple episodes on a series of non-jokes about yogurt and bananas

As each week and episode goes by I find myself wondering about the writers; their ages, experiences, backgrounds. Are they a younger generation cosplaying 50+ or the 50+ generation trying too hard not to offend these days? And for the love of Dog, will somebody please get rid of gaslighting Aidan one last time?!

You said exactly what I was thinking. It's really bad. Also have you noticed every one is wearing a belt. It's like they're being sponsored by Wewearbelts.com.

It's so bad I can't believe SJP let this out. She is executive producer isn't she

I think the writers don't like women or are threatened by them. It's so different from SATC and each series is getting worse

I stopped watching too. Totally with you on Aidan—why is he even here? Why are we recycling old fizzles when there’s a hot landscape architect just standing there... begging to be plucked?

I totally agree. I will always watch but I'm baffled at the lack of character development. If Samantha was still in it and carrying on as she did in the TV series, it'd be a bit sad and it is sad that Miranda is still the bumbling one, Charlotte is the neurotic one and Carrie is the fashion one. It's so horrendously out of touch too. I watched the most recent episode and couldn't believe how Carrie spoke to Miranda.

Someone just needs to write the Samantha Jones London spin-off.

Yes! Carrie was a super bitch in this episode. She’s rich and cares about one yogurt?! Rude!!

Each week im left asking how the characters did absolutely nothing while also doing the most insane things and reacting in ways that no person ever would

Agreed. They look older without ever growing up. Their concerns don’t change. It’s always “me”, “me”, “me” coupled with “What am I wearing?” I always thought the show was really about shopping. Sex was something they did between buying shoes.

Remember how Carrie used to ask a question and set the theme for the show? A simple formula was that was interesting and engaging. Whimsical. Cynical. Clever.

The four women were all women I knew, their relationships similar to my own friendships. This new show? I wouldn't hang out with any of these people.

They've neutered Charlotte.

Miranda's full frontal had nothing to do with anything.

Seema isn't the least bit interesting.

Whatever LTW wears pisses me off, every time.

Aiden sucks. Always has. Always will. He should have been gone by episode two.

And Carrie has become compliant and nontoxic.

Whoever is writing the show seems to think it's about the shoes. It's never been about the shoes.

I’m just hate watching at this point.

Aidan needs to go. I’m so done with his controlling bullshit. I’d much rather see Carrie with the gardener or the grumpy neighbor.

Miranda just pisses me off. I know Carrie was bitchy about a yogurt but who doesn’t ask. “Hey Carrie can I have this yogurt?” I’d be pissed too. Lisa is so beautiful but her outfits take away from her beauty. She looks clownish half the time. And Charlotte, dear Charlotte, I don’t know.

And Carrie just take your shoes off in the house.

I guess I just don’t connect with any of them.

And yes I forgot Seema. Exactly. I did love seeing the matchmaker though.

It makes me so sad that’s so bad 🥹 As a consolation price, I started rewatching the original series.

Am I the only one who thinks Lisa is a pointless character? They don't really give her any interesting storylines

Thursday episode had me enraged. When Carrie was complaining about her neighbor then Miranda spoke of her annoying neighbor and Carrie said “what does that have to do with my situation” or whatever. What a bit h! And then the last yogurt, banana and coke. Fuck this- Miranda is a ride or die- the current state of their relationship isn’t believable at all and I hate it.

The walking around her house in high heels thing did me in. Why would you need to walk round your own house in killer heels all the fckn time?! And where are the perfect, witty one-liners? It really is dreadful now. But I’m still watching it, hoping it’ll get better. 😅
